How do you get rid of beliefs?

I found this in http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre060.html:

..."JOHN: He next asks... "How do you get rid of beliefs?"

DATRE: You do not get 'rid' of beliefs, you 'replace' them - it is an automatic. If you have always, always, always, believed that if this circumstance happened, this would naturally follow. If that is something that you've always believed, if this happens, then this will happen automatically, then THAT is a belief that you need to look at.

Now, say to yourself, 'if this happens, does this automatically have to happen?'. Now, when you look at it in that context, then you can 'see' what a belief is. Now, that is probably not easy for you to come upon, but if you are looking for it you will find it, because it will pop-up in front of you.

Now, this business of saying, 'abusive people will always go into abusive situations', in other words, if a woman or man marries a woman or man that is a 'drunk', the first thing everybody says, 'well next time he or she marries, they'll do the same thing, I've seen it happen so often'. Now, if you want to accept that, that's fine, you 'believe' that is the sequence.
But, stop and take a look at it. There are those that have been in that situation, with peoples that are drunks and have walked away from that situation and have changed their lives completely. Analyze that, this is what we are trying to get you to do.
There are as many people that do it one way, as there are that do it the other. Which one do YOU want to see? Do you want to see the ones that make the change or do you want to see the
ones that stay in the same situation? That is a very simplistic belief, but it is a belief. It is not 'good', 'bad', or 'indifferent' in this case, it does not matter. What matters is YOU becoming 'aware' that 'both' situations exist. You 'observe' both situations and you 'allow' both situations, but you get 'involved' in neither. Immediately, that 'changes' a belief, it does 'not' get rid of it."...

I probably haven't spent enough time looking at my own beliefs, when you get used to them it's easy to forget they are beliefs in the first place.

But there seems to be a contradiction in the Datre transcripts in regards having/not having beliefs:

..."There are many others that are
'stumbling' blocks, rather than 'stepping' stones. Your 'belief' system is one of them. It's a copout. It really is, it's a copout. They say, well you can't live without a belief system. Yes you can. There are many on this planet right now, that are doing it and they are doing very well with that. You don't 'have' to 'believe' anything. All you 'have' to do is 'exist', be aware, allow and that's not only 'allow' your self, but 'allow' others."...

from: http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre025.html

Too bad I didn't ask Datre about it, but then again I suppose we're supposed to figure it out ourselves anyway. I guess one can do both; replace beliefs and/or not have them at all.

But what might seem dull at first...

Eckhart Tolle uses the analogy of the ocean, and I used that myself several years ago to explain the immortality of what I considered beingness, conciousness. The drop of water that falls into the ocean and dies as a drop, but then experience itself as greater than it used to be. I was trying to explain the immortality of experiencing and that true death cannot really be experienced.

Tolle explains it a bit differently though:

Like a Game of Chess

I've been watching the chess world championship for the past days, the battle between Carlsen and Anand. Carlsen has been called the Mozart of chess, and I'm wondering if he's connecting with a portion of himself that is not blurred by beliefs when he plays well, and the game "flows".

Although Anand is a very good player and not to be underestimated, so the outcome is not obvious yet.

One of the most viewed transcripts on the datretranscripts blog is one where Datre mentions chess.
Probably not random, though it could simply be explained by someone searching for chess in the archives, it's not unlikely since it's a championship going on at the moment, after all. But still I don't think things are so much random anymore.

This is from Datre174:

..."You must remember, this is a psychological game you're playing - like a game of chess. But you don't realize that you're playing a chess game, and you're not enjoying it. Why can't 'you' be an Aspect of something from another planet? Or, why can't something else on another planet be an Aspect of yours? Why not? You have ALL the possibilities and probabilities - so why can't it be? It is your 'belief' system that puts you into believing what you are or aren't. So, until you get to the point that you know 'who' you are, then that's another subject entirely.

But, you're all looking for answers. And the answer is right within 'you'. The only one that can find out what's within that which is 'you', is 'you'. Physicality is 'not' an easy subject. Physicality is one of your highest grades of individual education. But, you don't look at the physicality as an educational process.

If you were having a test in school, I'm sure you would study for it. You are the only one that can study for the test. You are the only one that's got the paper and pencil in hand. And you're the only one that can put down the answers. The teacher can't do it for you. And yet, you go to teacher after teacher, after teacher. And if the teacher is a good teacher, the teacher will say, 'it's up to you to do your homework'."...

Problems vs Challenges

...Sometimes the observation will just be for your enjoyment and other times it will be an answer to a perplexing situation (you call them problems)....

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre-reply-on-observations.html

This was Datre's reply to one of my mails years ago, and I did call them problems, and I still tend to call them problems, but I might have gotten a bit better at catching myself and try to remind myself it's not a problem, but an opportunity.

It can be difficult to acknowledge that if you're emotionally involved with something, then it becomes important to remember that it's not the picture that is important, but that which is creating the picture. Which I think is related to emotions, so you can focus on, and observe, the emotion instead.

Sometimes difficult things happen and then it's important to remember this could be the start of something new.

I think that Datre gave an example of that with airline pilots after the attack on the Trade towers, and also the kid who had to go abroad to get an operation. But I can't remember which transcripts they are at the  moment.

URU

I used to play the Myst games long ago, and then the online version when it was published over a decade ago, called URU.

I don't remember if there was a meaning with the name exactly,
but the title could be an abbrevation for You Are You, perhaps?

I had forgotten about this beautiful theme that plays in one of the ages, here it is.

I Have Come To Kill Your Ego

The title is from a session, or satsang, with Robert Adams. It's quite contradictory to what Datre is saying about the ego, that you don't have to kill the ego, but rather make it know it's place.

But I have decided on that on this blog I'll post about several teachings and sources, and there are many similarities between the different teachings. Both Datre and Adams talk about contradictions in teachings and between different teachings, I also remember Eckhart Tolle mentioning that, - it being the result of the mind.

According to Lester Levenson, the mind is but an instrument to fragment, to separate. And Datre says this world is set up with opposites. So there's no wonder the teachings may sometimes have contradictions.

My impression is that Robert Adams is using a method - Advaita Vedanta, a part of hinduism - and is trying to have people stay focused on that for them to quicker get self-realized. Which may be why alot of teachers will not talk about or involve other teachings.

Anyway, the title is is the title of a session I came across as the only video footage I've found so far of Robert Adams. The audio quality is unfortunately not very good, but the written transcript is available on the net.

It's called  'I Have Come To Kill Your Ego', dated 19th of July, 1992.

Another sentence I noticed in this session/video was:

Where were you before you were born?

The Tomorrowland Project - in another world?

I was reading our chinese translater QingQings latest post where she refered to a transcript in which Datre talks about WORLD 1, WORLD 2, WORLD 3.

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre84a.html

One of the last things I talked to John S. about was the Tomorrowland project,

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/addendum.html

Perhaps, the Tomorrowland institute is being set up in a world where more people are receptive to it's teachings?

I don't even know which world we are in now, but I'm guessing WORLD 2 still.

Beliefs - The Only Game In Town

The title is from one of the chapters in "We Are Datre - book 2". I think it fits well with what scientist are beginning to discover about the placebo effect.

Live. Die. Repeat.

Well this is familiar Datre subject, they mentioned it several times in the transcripts.

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre-replys.html

Alexander

I came across a netforum that had some discussion about wether the channeled Alexander had anything to do with Datre.

At first glance there are some similarities perhaps, but Alexander uses concept of spirituality while as Datre don't. They also had way different explanations to i.e. crop circles.

After a search in the Datre transcripts, I found that Datre had actually commented on Alexander. Alexander however have repeated that they don't comment on other channels, so I haven't bothered sending them any questions about it. Perhaps the channel would be interested though but probably not (?)

Anyway, here is the part where Alexander is commented on:

JOHN: The next name, or group, referred to by one name, is the
name - "do you know Alexander" who refers to themselves as "a
consciousness gestalt of discarnate humans".

DATRE: All right, we are aware of gestalts and we are aware of mass consciousness... predispositions, lets put it that way. In other words, we can observe gestalts of information that we perceive. The discarnates are those in the "dead zone". Those are people that have died. Very easy to connect... to detect because your, what you call your life, and what you call your death is perceived by us a the same vibration. The same as we perceive gestalts of any kind. And because your what you call death is only one step, shall we say, from your life cycle. It is... from our viewpoint, it is continuous.

I know you jump in and out of death and in and out of life so to
speak, from your standpoint, we use your connotations. To us, it
appears as gestalts, regardless of whether you consider yourself
alive of dead. So, yes we perceive that. That is those that are
in the dead zone, yes.

The information given from the dead zone is information that is
gained from those that have had physicality upon planet Earth.

No Fate but what we make for ourselves

I happened to come across a special version of the old Terminator 2 movie, it had some scenes I hadn't seen before, like this one:

as I remember one of the messages in the movie was: 'The future is not set, there is no fate but what we make for ourselves.'

I also watched 'Memoirs of a Geisha', and it was a good movie, it has some beautiful actors.
The main character says: "The heart dies a slow death, shedding each hope like leaves. Until one day there are none. No hopes. Nothing remains."

Frozen and Tangled

Physicality is no more than frozen thought.
(- from the 5th Dimension, Doorways to the Universe)

...and we have tangled ourselves into a world of beliefs and belief systems...

It has been awhile since I've watched anything Disney created, but these two movies were at least entertaining.

..."So, you see, to us this was a new experience to work with 'particles' - its very different. In fact, the thing that's interesting is that they keep moving. You think of yourself as being 'stationary' and yet, the first time I came in I could not... I was afraid the body was going to fall apart, because everything keeps moving all the time. Everything within your body is in constant motion. Now through the eyes I look at the skin and its, like its standing still, but I had to get used to that - the fact that it is standing still. Because my first impression was that it’s all over the place, how is it going to hold together because it’s in constant motion?

So, you see, your 'perception' is what changes everything."...

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre065.html

Perhaps the one in Datre felt a little like Rapunzel as she left the tower?

..."Every time I come through, I see 'different'. You know why? Because, Aona's eyes are changing. You'll say, 'but you see the same thing'.

You see grass - yes I see grass. But, I can tell you one thing; the grass that I see today is intense green and
'sparkly' because it has rain water on it. The last time I was here, the grass was not 'brilliant' like this. The grass didn't change, the eyes changed. The elements outside... your rain changed it. So grass is not grass. Grass is what you 'perceive' it to be today. Then if you're going to look through the eyes of 'yesterday', I can see how boring it can become. Everything is 'different' everyday you open your eyes - begin to look. There are those that are beginning to see what we are talking about and beginning to become 'fascinated' by things that we have spoken of.

You see it is so much easier for us to explain these things to you, because to 'us' it is NEW experiences. To people in the 'dead zone' who are familiar with grass and trees and rocks and everything, that is of no interest to them. Because that's what you call 'old hat'. But to US it is a NEW adventure. You don't have to go out into someplace exotic to have an adventure. Adventure could be looking at things differently, everyday of
your life. Search for something NEW. Look for something NEW. Chuck all the notes and stuff from yesterday, you don't need it. Now, if its a reference book on how to run a piece of machinery, then you might want to keep it, because you may have to know where the bolts and nuts go. That's a little different, because that is 'mass' and you can't do anything about that. But, the rest of the world is all different. Find the difference. You
find the difference, you begin to experience the difference and that's when you'll begin to see the MAGIC."...

World Experience - Virtual Reality

I remember the VR - virtual reality goggles from the late 90's, I guess they have another name for the concept now.

In a transcript from early 2000 Datre mentioned virtual reality and used it as an analogy of experiencing the physical world - which is what we do everyday.

..."You see, you talk about that which you call... you put on some kind of goggles and you can look around and you're in a situation. Like the one on TV where the fellow is dancing with this girl and he's in the middle of a store and they're trying to get the goggles off of him. He's so convinced that he's there dancing with this girl that he won't give up the goggles. You see, 'virtual reality' is very fascinating, because it puts you - from the point of a physical body - into a situation that you can take part in.

Now, isn't that amazing, that's what you do everyday. But you see, because you know you can take the goggles off, it doesn't bother you. 'It's an experience, so I can take the goggles off and I don't have that experience any more'. You can be in a war. You can be dancing with a beautiful girl. You can do all these things through 'virtual reality'. But, how do you suppose that concept ever came about? Because, its what you do every day. Your life in physicality is nothing more than 'virtual reality'. And the day you 'understand' that principle - totally and completely - you won't be here, because you can take the goggles off. But, that realization is a great deal harder for those in physicality to comprehend and understand, than you have any idea.

Because, taking goggles with 'virtual reality' - you're in it - but, not to the same degree, because you don't have the physical body with it's multiple 'belief' systems to function through. The key is, they're both PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSTRUCTS. They're 'mental' images projected for your experience and understanding.

But its fun to put the goggles on and 'pretend' - but, you take the goggles off, you're back in a physical construct and you don't 'pretend' any more. But, the minute you put your body on, you no longer 'pretend'. You have grounded yourself in a multiplicity of BELIEFS. That's what holds you here. Its a multiplicity of BELIEFS and they can be 'good', 'bad' or indifferent it doesn't matter. But your 'belief' system is what maintains the PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSTRUCT that you 'perceive' as real. Look at it from that standpoint and see how it feels.
We thank you, we are Datre."

The Planetary Grid - Ukraine

With the tension in this part of the world I thought it would be interesting to see where the grid lines is in relation to that.

The grid lines for Ukraine is on the N5 skin on the planetary grid. there are two grid lines going through the country, one in the northwest and one in the southeast.

The southeast one has a vortex in the west in the western part of Romania on the border to Serbia. The vortex in the east is in Russia close to Volgograd.

The line goes through the part of Ukraine that is more or less occupied by Russian military forces.

From what I remember, the energy pulse goes slowly along these grid lines which can cause some sort of action or event.

This could be part of what is taking place in south-east of Ukraine these days.

What is love - Observation

Yesterday I was at my gym, and I happen to see this girl I hadn't seen for awhile there. She had a gray sweater with a hood, glasses with big black frames, and a long blondish ponytail.
I noticed her because I think she's rather cute, but very introvert.

As I was leaving the gym I'm hearing this old song, "What is love" by Haddaway, and I'm thinking to myself "..by all means..."

So today I happen to come across this video, this is not the same person, but she could easily go for a lookalike with her sweater and glasses and the hair. And the title of the video is of course "What is love".

This was just too funny and cute for me not to post. :)

So will anything happen? I have no idea. Will I ever see her again? No clue.

But it's a pretty good observation I think, very in your face kind of  :)

I guess might see her tomorrow...? :)
