Thunderheart

I thought of calling this post something about owls, but I don't really like death messages so I went with Thunderheart instead.

I was watching TV late and it was dark outside, just a bright outdoor lamp that lit up the wall on the other side from my window. As I glanced away from the TV and out the window I saw a bird of some sort fly slowly in front of the lamp.
I couldn't see it properly, but it had somewhat long wings and short body, so I reckoned it was an owl, and thought it was cool, since I can't remember if I've ever seen one out in nature, though I've heard it many times.
Later I glanced out again, then it flew the same way back. So I saw it two times.

Then I started watching a movie called Thunderheart, which has a story built on true occurences back in the 70's.
The main character is sent to an indian reservation to help with a murder investigation, and one of the indians he talk to are an old medicine man, that tells him he already foresaw him coming.
At the end of the conversation the translator tells him that owls predict death in indian culture.

Link to trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dfmkymTr4c

I can imagine which ones might be predicted for, but I don't like to write about it too much. It doesn't have to be cast in stone the way I might think.

Then in the movie there's a scene where a deer or elk is running in front of the car the main character and his friend are driving at night.

After the movie I went driving in the night and along the roadside I saw two deer that  ran from the road and out into the field. They weren't on the road but I saw them in the headlights.
I don't think I've seen deer since I saw one being hit by a truck in the opposite lane one dark early morning. At least these two weren't hit by anyone.

Sometimes observations seems to come like machinegun-shots, a couple rapid rounds within a few minutes,or just a minute, and then silent for a week or two, or a month even.

Or perhaps I'm denying all the ones I don't like and don't count them all.

I decided to change the layout on  datretranscripts.blogspot.com ,
if there's any problem with anything showing correctly, you can leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.

I AM the way and the truth and the life

"No one comes to the Father except through me."

So, I saw an article about the findings of old scriptures that said Jesus was a shapeshifter. They considered it fan-fiction.

But I recall reading somewhere in the Datre transcripts or books, that Aona would change her appearance so she could avoid some people for whatever reason. So she'd walk past them without them recognizing her.

Anyway, in other "news", Datre-enthusiast QingQing recently translated a section from the Conversation with Datre book, a chapter called 'Self and Ego'.

It's interesting reading, I think it sort-of, in a more detailed way, resembles what Jesus is trying to convey to his disciples about the real Self. But they don't seem to believe him, or understand.

..."You see that even in books on super-learning and all of that. They say that you can call it “George” for all the difference it makes. But make friends with George.
Make friends and call it Mr. ego or Mrs. ego or whatever you want to call it."...

..."They just say, well “kill” the ego or do away with the ego or…
No, you don’t have to. Be friends with it. And tell George, “Hey George, now what I want to experience and what you’re showing me is not the attitude I want to take towards those individuals”.
I have nothing against those individuals. So, why not you and I become friends and I’ll show you a few things. You keep me on track, but let me teach you."...

You create your own Pictures

I was approached the other day on the street by someone working for a humanitary organisation, Amnesty International. I saw on his folder the subject - "stop death penalty".

It's not that long ago that I ended my membership in a political organisation, so I didn't want to join as a member, but I could sign for a campaign if they had one going. They didn't have that though.

I can't remember thinking about anything or being occupied with anything particular about death penalty prior to meeting this young guy on the street.

Today however as I was checking the news, some of the prior cases internationally where that Pakistan is reintroducing death penalty again, after a temporary ban.

The other one was, Amnesty International were calling for Edward Snowden  (the whistleblower) to be granted asylum, because he risks the death penalty if he is to be sent back to USA.

I'm not really affected directly by any of these news, which probably helps in seeing the observation in it. Would it have been as easy to spot if one was in the middle of experiencing it?

I thought about the incident with the guy in the street, and I guess I could have given them, Amnesty, some financial support, without being a member. He didn't directly ask for it though. And I didn't think about until today.

I also remember Eckhart Tolle pointing out the old saying "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." ...

I am more concerned with how this world works, and how I works, in order to get the best experience possible, the ulimate. I believe less and less that this world can have any lasting happiness in it. It goes up and down, and nothing seems to really get any better, just small victories and sad setbacks.

Though, last night I did have some doubt about the whole thing, thoughts came up about the whole thing being a conspiration, that Datre have a political agenda, and similar thoughts.

And I thought to myself, heh that's a long time since I've had any doubt, it's almost fascinating, and perhaps I'm correct in my thoughts or perhaps not, but I'm to tired to figure it out now, and life will probably show me what is really going on.

So I sort of let it go, and as I was watching tv at that time, almost immediately there was a reassuring observation on the screen about me not having to have any doubt. I don't know if it would make any sense for me to describe it, but I got it anyway.

Datre talks alot about creating pictures in several transcripts, I'll post a couple excerpts here:

from Datre 104:

..."JOHN: He further continues and says... "And how space-time is created from this collaboration of contrasting perspectives."

DATRE: It is NOT, because you do not create it. You do not create those things. You see, you think that 'you' create these things. "Space" is a Universal perspective. There are those that are "birthed" to create 'space'. Its beyond your conception I know and that's all I can say.

You don't create ANYTHING - you create "pictures". The "only" thing that you create is "pictures" for you to learn by. That is what you're supposed to be doing. That is becoming an INDIVIDUAL, is working with your own "pictures". OBSERVING your 'own' pictures for you're own EVOLUTION.

Now, if agreeing with 'other' people makes you comfortable - fine. But, why agree with 'other' people?

JOHN: There's no reason why you 'disagree' with other people - either way.

DATRE: You don't have to, you don't have to agree with them, you don't have to disagree with them - 'you' have to be 'you'. And the 'you' is NOT a 'groupie'. The 'you' is an INDIVIDUAL that is teaching him or herself, because there isn't anyone else that can teach you. Now, you'll say, 'well we're getting teachings from Datre'. All right, if you want to look at them that way that is fine. But I'll tell you one thing, the words you read on
your computer screen are read by every 'individual' that reads those words, in a very 'different' manner. Then any way you wish to 'interpret' what is said, is entirely up to you, because how 'you' interpret it is where 'you' are in 'your' understanding at the present time. So however your learning comes, that's fine - but learn about yourself. Don't learn about 'other' people. Don't be concerned about 'space'. Don't think that 'you' are
creating all of this here - you're ONLY creating the PICTURES.

Everything on this planet is 'set' here for you to OBSERVE. Now, 'you' pick the portion that you want to look at - and learn from 'that' portion. That's why two people will never agree - on anything - IF they are "true" to themselves.
"...

from Datre 020:

..."Now, that is what happens, there is no two upon your planet, and
you have many many on your planet, that can perceive, see, taste, touch, smell anything that what your picture that you put in front of you shows you. That is why you can all eat one piece of fruit, you can all eat one piece of meat, take one piece of meat, cut it all up in pieces and hand it all over to everybody,
there's no two of you that will taste the same thing. There's no
two of you that will smell the same thing. That is why, when we
made the statement, and people jumped all over, "the world never
changes, only you do". That is what we were referring to. You
create your own reality, but you don't understand what your
doing. You are painting the picture, that you are existing in.
You are creating everything that is here. This is your picture.
"...

On another note - the other day I went for a walk, and spent almost the entire time doing I Am mantra/meditation. It's rather relaxing, especially if you go out into nature I think. At the end of the walk, my smelling the trees, flowers, everything, was improved.

I thought of making a post about it, but then something else happened, and I found something else to write about.

I never have to worry about not having anyting to write about on this blog, there is allways something happening one way or the other, even if the subject that I'm writing about is limited (or unlimited, whichever way one choose to view it).

So I hope whomever may read this are enjoying the discovery of whichever pictures you are putting in front of yourself.

Enjoy :-)

They do not see what lies ahead when Sun has failed and Moon is dead

I was watching this funny reaction video of a couple of girls that are very much fans of The Hobbit movies. They're very funny and seem to be having a good time. At the end of the clip when they've calmed a bit, they use a Gollum toy/statue that quotes the character from the Lord of the Rings movies.

Now I guess one could question as to wether a character such as Gollum is a guy to take any advice from...

on the other hand, commercials aren't that much better with their white lies and black lies...
...but still one can observe them.

That line "They do not see what lies ahead when Sun has failed and Moon is dead", it reminds me of my own attempts to see the alternative for my letting go of any attachements.

In order to stop hanging on to something you have to have something to move on to, so that you let go of something for something better, an improvement.

From Datre 164:
http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre164.html

..."Now, we have talked about 'belief' systems we have talked about 'ego' systems, lets go a little further. You take a 'belief' system and you "want to get rid of it", what are you going to replace it with? You can't leave a hole. The brain will be very disturbed, because something has been gotten rid of, so to speak. And it will continue to pop up every once in a while. And you'll say, 'I thought I got rid of that'. And bingo, here it comes again.

Now, analyze a 'belief' system. You'll say, 'that is something I'd prefer not having, so I will replace it with something else'. So, think of what you will replace it with. Then you'll say, 'well what can that be?'. It is up to you to discover what you are comfortable with. But don't leave an open hole.

Its like a man out in the back yard digging a hole. And a fellow says, 'what are you going to put in there?' and he says, 'I don't know'. But you don't walk away and leave a hole in the ground, you put something in it, or you put all the dirt back in it again. Then if you don't put anything in it, with the wind and the rain and all this, the dirt will go back in by itself. Then every time you come up against it, here's this hunk of dirt again. It will bother you, because you've got a hole there. The brain is a 'worry-wart' - it will rut. You've heard of a rutting brain, it keeps bring up the same thing over and over and over and over. And you'll say, 'I don't want to think about that any more, I'm not getting any place, I keep worrying about this same thing, a dog chasing its tail, around and around and around'. Well, if you don't put something in its place what's going to stop it from going around?
"...

The problem, or I guess Datre would say challenge, of letting go of attachements in this world, is that we don't really see the better alternative. What is going to replace the happiness of the attachement without it there? How can we be happy in not needing the world?

One can allways listen to wise men and women, but how are you to be convinced that this is worth the effort?

I guess this is why Datre says that to be a Master you have to be bold, to go into the unknown.
A little bit like Bilbo the hobbit did perhaps, when he stepped out of his comfy hobbit-home?

From Datre 094:
http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre094.html

..."We've said many times, "you are alone". And that is scary to many people, they're frightened of that, because when you come into the world, you're nurtured, you’re cuddled, you're taken care of. There are people that all through their lives they have been nurtured and cuddled and taken care of, by family, by friends, by husbands, by wives and all through their lives there has been somebody there to take care of them. What have they learned? They have not learned a great deal because they have not been "bold" enough to be alone.

Becoming a MASTER is being "bold". You have to be "bold" to be a MASTER, because you are going to look at things from an entirely different standpoint. You are not going to "react" to situations like MASS CONSCIOUSNESS does and this will set you apart, you will be different. But, it is "your" evolution and no one else's and this is very important.

My own Shiva stone - in polystyrene!

Today I went to my local gym, like I do every now and then, to work out. Even though I'm probably not going to be a bodybuilder, I do feel good after a bit of exercise.

There's a funny story about Robert Adams that he met with a bodybuilder who proudly showed off his big muscles to Robert, and Robert said 'Great, you'll be the healthiest corpse in the cemetary'. So much for that worldly occupation I guess.

However, I usually stretch out after the exercising is done, there's a little corner of the gym where you can do that.
And there it was, my own Shiva stone, leaning slightly up against the wall like the most natural thing in the world. Made of polystyrene.

I noticed it immediately as such because I had seen the actual one in the documentary about Ramana Maharsi at about 1 hour, 5minutes, 10 seconds into the video, in the last post I made here.
That is of course an actual stone, black, standing over Ramanas tomb.

Mine wasn't a stone, but it had the same shape and it was black, and it looked like it was the same size, at least from my point of view. And I have no idea what it was used for. Why was it standing there? Was it an exercise equipment? Why against the wall? Had someone left it behind? No idea. I could probably have figured it out by asking someone, but it wasn't necessary, because the main message was received as far as I was concerned.

On one level it could be Ramana sending me a message in a funny way, as I was stretching out I thought about what how Ramana walked to his holy mountain every day, Arunachula. That would be his exercise it seems.

But the actual credit goes to Self, You create your own reality, whatever you focus on.

It would have been interesting to ask Datre if one could manipulate what kind of people one would meet during the day, simply by putting on a certain fashion or outlook. Or clothes with specific images.

I.e. if you wore a t-shirt with the heart-sutra on, the people you would meet who would notice that, would have to have it in their minds one way or the other. Perhaps they would be buddhists, but they could also be hostile to buddhism. Or they might not notice the writing in the first place.

So yes, I see a Shiva stone in a video, and 3 days later I see a very resembling object at my local gym, which is not specifically spiritual or religious in any way. If it was a Yoga center it might have been less mystical.

Shiva is suppose to be the greatest of the Hindu gods, the destroyer of ego and the world. Since I don't know anything else than the Self that can destroy the ego and make the world go away, I guess Shiva is a reference to Self.

In the book "Who Am I" where Ramana is answering questions, he mentiones Siva (God), and I don't know if that is the same as Shiva. but it would make sense.

But yes this is an observation, one of the funny ones from my perspective, it takes you by surprise when it happens, and it doesn't have to have any fireworks going off when you see it, just calmly quietly it's there. Except if the actual observation include fireworks and loud sound that is.

It reminds me of something similar that happened to me after watching some television program with interviews of psychics - they said dead people would send birds to the people left behind in the live zone.

Some time after seeing that program I had birds waking me up in the morning, flying into my bedroom through my open window, it is usually open. Some of them were panicking to get out, others just took a break between the battles with the glass window, one of them hovered above my head looking down at me while I was lying there half awake wondering what all the noise was about.

I can take a guess who would be sending me these little birds who flew into my bedroom for awhile.

But again the actual credit goes to Self, whatever you experience is your own creation.

Nowadays I'm more often woken up by wasps, that are very interested in getting through the window opening while the sun is shining on my bedroom wall. Just one at a time.
I can probably guess what it means, though that one isn't so obvious.
Either way I've come to see that wasps have different personalities, some will be very eager in moving about and trying to get out, not understanding how they got in, while others will much more calmly explore the environment that they have gotten into. Almost like a scientist making notes, a wasp anthropologist taking a look at the human world. Those ones are much more aware of where the exit is though, and will quickly head for the window if they feel that someone is trying to show them the way out.

I was thinking of putting a picture of Shiva in this post, but that sort of doesn't fit if Shiva is a reference the the actual Self, the YOU that you are. Because that is unlimited, so how can it be described?
Pictures can only describe limitation.
I guess that's why pictures, or icons were forbidden in orthodox religions, perhaps a link to an actual understanding who God was, - unlimited, undescribable, No-thing, nothing of this world.
The true "I Am".

I could have taken a picture the polystyrene "Shiva stone" though, but didn't really have a camera with me at that time.

In case Ramana Maharsi had anything to do with my local shiva stone, I thank you for your gesture. :-)

But most of all I thank my Self, for any clues and hints I get, the experience is gently and perfectly timed, and the sense of humor that is put in it.

I sure Am amusing sometimes.

Who Am I

In Datre 191, among many other transcripts where sleep is mentioned, Datre talks about what is sleep:

..."JOHN; Then she asks; "When we have managed to establish heaven on earth or whatever you would call our current evolution process, will there be the concept of sub- or superconsciousness?"

DATRE; Well, number one, you won't have heaven on earth, because you've got a dichotomy going right there. You have a conception of what hell is like, you have a conception of what heaven is like, you have a conception of what physicality is like, and they're all three different. Then, until you understand what physicality is all about, you will never be able to see physicality as it truly is.

Also, you categorize and split everything. You've got consciousness, unconsciousness, superconsciousness, subconsciousness. There again, the only thing that you missed on that, as long as you're putting everything in categories, the one biggest one that you have, and you don't know anything about, and that's 'sleep'. Because in sleep there is 'knowingness' and there is not a division. Continue."...

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre191.html )

In a conversation, or rather a question-answer session, with Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharsi, in a small book called 'Who Am I', Ramana also talks a little about sleep:

..."What is called ‘mind’ is a wondrous power residing in the Self. It causes all thoughts to arise. Apart from thoughts, there is no such thing as mind. Therefore, thought is the nature of mind. Apart from thoughts, there is no independent entity called the world. In deep sleep there are no thoughts, and there is no world. In the states of waking and dream, there are thoughts, and there is a world also. Just as the spider emits the thread (of the web) out of itself and again withdraws it into itself, likewise the mind projects the world out of itself and again resolves it into itself. When the mind comes out of the Self, the world appears. Therefore, when the world appears (to be real), the Self does not appear; and when the Self appears (shines) the world does not appear."...

Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharsi was a guru, or teacher, to Robert Adams:

Have a nice day!

So, every now and then I look into what chinese Datre translator Qingqing have translated.
She doesn't follow the archives chronologically and she outlines parts of the transcripts that I assume she finds important and/or well put, or extraordinary.

I find that interesting, because it gives me a different angle to the Datre material, things that I may have thought insignificant, but looking at it from a different angle it becomes important or interesting.

This time she translated Datre152 and it has parts that continue explain how to be an observer.
I think this is the main theme of the Datre transcript, like a red thread, - Observing.

So I thought I'd post a couple extracts from Datre 152, and similarly from Datre 177.

Have a nice day  :)

from Datre152:

..."JOHN; The next question goes on to ask... "I know that my body is basically the vehicle I am working with during physicality and that I am not my body. I understand that your comments about being an observer indicate I should have awareness of what I'm doing and why. I am starting to better understand that the lessons of physicality are to be learned here/now not in some other mystical state. However, can you offer suggestions on maintaining a balance between being an OBSERVER yet still allowing myself to learn the full lessons physical experience has to offer?"

DATRE; Sure, you get up in the morning, you go to work, you do your job and you're involved in it, but you also talk to people during the day. Now, what are you learning in talking with people? Are you just jabber jabbering or are you paying attention to what the other person is saying? That is one of the things we notice in physicality. Everyone is interested in talking and telling. But, not too many people are interested in 'listening'.

People will say things to you and they are of no consequence to you. Like you go in a store and they will say, when you've paid your bill, 'have a good day'. They have been programmed to say nice things to people, so 'have a good day'. They don't care whether you're going to have a good day or not. Its just something they're supposed to say.

Now, be an OBSERVER, it doesn't take any big effort. When someone looks at you and smiles when you've paid your bill, and they say, 'have a good day'. That is a person that means it. Then you smile in return, and say, 'and you have a nice day too even if you have to work'. You see, its so easy to be an OBSERVER. I have seen people say that to people that have paid their bill, they look at them and they smile and they say, 'now you have a nice day' and they mean it. And the people will pick up their bag and walk off. Now, is that any way to react?

Being an OBSERVER is not just standing and watching the world go by - its participating. Its 'action' - that's what you want. You want activity. Not scurrying around the place. You want positive action in everything you do - regardless of what it is, it does not matter. So maybe that will help you. But pay attention to other people. There are other people that know nothing about Datre - it doesn't matter, they're kind people. When they say, 'and you have a nice day' and mean it, then acknowledge it. Continue."...

The full transcript here:   http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre152.html

 and from Datre 177:

..."Women and men with children - you don't have to talk to children all the time. You'll find that a contented child is a quite child. Its not a rambunctious child, its a child that's interested in everything - but is not constantly chattering. They learn the chatter from you. Its the only way a child learns, is by following what you keep doing all the time. And if you're constantly chattering, what does the child do? They think that's the way of life. Then you'll buy him or her a little toy telephone and they'll talk, talk, talk - because that's what mother and dad do. You see what you're teaching them? A child will follow your actions and very often will not listen to a word you say. So when you stop and look at what your actions are, it makes a difference.

Try that. See how many things you thought were important to say, and how many things you could have done without saying, and were saying just to be talking. You see, you don't always have to say things. A smile suffices. When someone says, 'have a nice day' - they're so used to saying it now that it doesn't mean anything - but if a clerk says, 'have a nice day', smile and say, 'thank you'. You don't have to go into a great big long rhetoric.

This is interesting. You planet has become a planet of 'chatterers'. And the thing is, when you're chattering, you want to be 'seen' or you want to be 'heard'. This is the only way you can find your validity. The 'squeaky wheel get the grease' - 'so I must make myself a squeaky wheel so that someone will notice me'. Someone notices a 'quite' person. And you will be surprised, because people will walk by and say, 'I didn't know you were there, I haven't heard you say a word'. What's there to say?"...

Seth message to the viewer

From a session in 1974 where Seth turns to the viewer of the video.

About  3 min. 50 sec. into the video.

Someone commented that Seth ended severeal words with the "A" sound.

I found this in Datre book 5, Conversations with Datre - page 9, on comparing the words "awareness" and "consciousness":

DATRE:
..."Anything that begins with an "A" that is of nature, it opens up,
you don't close your mouth to say "A" - "A" is open.
So "awareness" is an opening up."...

World of Opposites

from   http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre094.html   :

..."The individual that is going to raise MASS CONSCIOUSNESS is "not" the one that's sitting praying. It's the one that's "doing". You must realize a very fundamental, this planet was "originally" set up as "opposites", because "this" is what you wanted to experience. If you don't have an "opposite", how are you going to understand? The "opposites" are your learning. "Observe" - that is the big word. You "need" your "opposites" for this particular learning experience. This is what it is all about. Everything on your planet and everyone on your planet is working with "opposites". You have "black" and you have "white" and you have "day" and you have "night". You have those that are the "bullies" and you have those that are called the little "angels".
The little goodie, goodie two shoes that never do anything wrong. And the "bullies" who are always beating up on the little goodie, goodie two shoes. It’s your "opposites". But, you're writing the script. And when you begin to "understand" and can look at the "bully" and the little goodie, goodie two shoes and see them fighting, it does not bother you. Because it’s "their" fight. This is what they're experiencing. And, you can separate them. But neither one of them should get praise or neither one of them should get scolded - just separate them. That's all there is to it, because those that have decided to be one, will be one, and those that have decided to be the other, will be the other. There's "always" the "opposites"."...

I do not prevail

I found this statement to have somewhat of a physical effect on the body, as you reduce the need to stress and struggle to get somewhere.
To me this was more immediate than the I AM - meditation, without saying it is more effective overall.

This is an excerpt from 'The Silence of the Heart', dialogues with Robert Adams -

"When the mind is silent, then reality comes of its own accord. When you are thinking and thinking, the world has got you and you become worldly again. Self-inquiry causes the mind to be quiet.

After you  work on that, you go on saying, "I do not prevail." You say to yourself, "You mean that my entire existence since I was a baby until I die, means nothing?"
Then you say to yourself, "I have just proven I was not born, If I was never born, how can I prevail?
What prevails? Who prevails?

You will see that it is the mind that prevails. The mind wants existence, wants strength, wants power.
It makes you believe you are the body. Ask yourself, "To whom comes the mind? Who gave it birth?
What is its source?" then keep still.
You will begin to laugh because you will begin to feel , even if only for a moment, that there is no mind. You will actually feel no-mind.

In the beginning it may last for a moment or two. As you practice every day, those moments of no-mind will become even greater.

Go on and say, "I will never disappear." Now you laugh again, because you realize that which never existed disappears. I am no-mind, so how can I disappear? This become very meaningful for you and as you do it every day, you become stronger and stronger in mindfulness, and something happens that's so beautiful that I can't describe it. You feel such love, such joy, such harmony, such bliss. Then you carry on.

Have a deep feeling, and a realization, that you are unborn, that you do not prevail, and you will never disappear. You will never die. Think about that. just to think to yourself that you are unborn.
There's no cause for your birth. Cause doesn't exist. There's no reason for your birth. You never are born. And as far as your existence is concerned, it's not there. You do not prevail from birth to death. There is nothing going on. Absolute nothing.
And you do not get older, you do not disappear, or you do not die. Think about that. How free you'll become when you understand what this means. It's a beautiful feeling to know that you were never born, that you've always existed, but not the way you think you are. Your life as it is right now, whatever you think you're doing, however important it may be to you, is totally meaningless. Why? Because it'll be gone soon. Death of the identity

The secret of life is to die before you die, as Eckhart Tolle said.

Seth 2, future Seth - Datre

I've been reading 'The Seth Material' by Jane Roberts, and I think this is the first book were she introduces both Seth and Seth 2 to the public.

She describes the channeling of Seth 2 as a somewhat frightening/uncomfortable experience, and that she felt it was difficult to be in control - at least to begin with.

Also the power of the energy was extremely strong from Seth 2.

Seth 2, as they would call 'him', was speaking in a more cold and emotionless manner, and refered to a 'we' instead of just himself.

Because Jane wasn't comfortable (I assume) with channeling Seth 2, and the energy was so strong, Seth 2 would only come through occasionally and rarely.

Seth 2 said he sort of 'used' Seth to get the message through, probably because Jane was more comfortable with Seth.

Datre would confirm in theire transcripts that Seth 2 was a part of them, and that the 'we' he was refering to was Datre.

It's too bad people found Seth 2 and Datre to be too 'cold' to be interested in the actual content of what they were saying.

On a sidenote, I found a transcript were I realized Seth was coming through, at the end of

Knock your socks off

I mentioned to Datre, or John, that I would like to read something that would knock my socks off - I hadn't read all of the transcripts at that time.
I didn't realize, reading about it isn't going to do it, you have to be able to apply it in your life.

What Datre states about the NOW, the present moment, is very similar to what Eckhart Tolle is pointing out, although perhaps with a slightly different angle.

An excerpt from

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2012/12/datre205-nov-2002.html

..."Now, what happens when you get to the point that you don't remember backwards and just go forward? It becomes an entirely different world because you do not search out backward to find a similar situation. When you don't do that, every situation you put in front of yourself with the pictures that you're painting become New.

Then your actions become entirely different. You're not relating to anything backward, you have nothing to relate to. So you take every experience as being brand new.

You can't imagine living that way because there are so few that do that. But, in living that way, you actually gain the freedom you so desire. Then do you know what happens? There are individuals that begin to do that and they pull back because they are afraid.

You have no idea of the feeling that comes when you begin to experience from a NOW standpoint. It is a feeling of aloneness, of being alone. And that is what the physical construct will reject. Unless you have properly taught it and said, I will take you by the hand and we will go together. And you have convinced the body that you will always be there so that it need not be afraid.

You do not understand the depth of the words that I am giving you. But I have told you time and time again, that I will give you information that you are unfamiliar with, for you to experience.

Someone said, When are you going to give us something to knock our socks off? If you want to knock your socks off, then begin to live in what you presently call the NOW.

When you have an experience – stop. Don't reach into the past. Stop and act on that experience as of the moment. Don't “ponder it or think about it or anything else”. Take a look at the situation – make a decision – and do it.

That is the beginning of knocking your socks off. Because, when you live in that which you call the NOW, your whole life is so entirely different you will not recognize it - guaranteed. Continue."...

The "Good for Nothing" man

In one of the posts on the Datre-blog I have, John S. writes about a conversation with one of those in Datre. John tells:

..."His remark was, "but you see, I am 'nothing' yet I do what I do
because it is what I do". He went on to say, "the Entity is the same, it is
'nothing'". These remarks brought back a flood of understanding that I had
forgotten, 'we are ALL nothing' (no-thing) but we in the 'physical' construct
have a very DEEP fear of being 'nothing'."...

This is the same as Robert Adams insist on - when talking about a phone call from his brother, Roberts brother asks him  'Are you still nothing?', and he says 'I am nothing, thank you'.

To be able to let go of it all, the whole world, the body and the mind. Some would say he's lost his mind, which would be pretty much accurate. Ironically that's considered an insult, to lose your mind, and to be nothing.

I think this is what happened to Hylas, he discovered the spirit of water and was lost for this world, meaning it didn't matter to him.

What does it matter if you lose your mind and becomes nothing, if you gain your real Self?
