Polarities

Polarities can be tricky to accept all of, and we have it all over in this world.

..."JOHN: And her next question is... "If the principle of opposites or polarity exist throughout our universe how come there is none among the universal beings? If polarity exists there what's the nature of it?"

DATRE: Well, polarities exist within your BUBBLE. Within other planetary bubbles you do not necessarily have polarity. Now, all the planetary bubbles are not the same... evolution is 'different' on every single one. You don't use the same principle... why would there ever be two? There is no need to have two. Where does evolution come in, if the next planetary
existence you go to is going to be the same as this one? Something has to change.

But you haven't learned it, because you still believe in 'good' and 'bad'. Now, if you know polarities exist and you know there is 'good' and there's 'bad' and that has to be for the polarities on this planet and you understand that, why do you have to side in one side or another? Why can't you acknowledge their existence and go on your own way? That is very
difficult for 'humanity' to understand. You don't have to be 'good' or you don't have to be 'bad'. Can't you just exist in a physical construct and acknowledge both and not get upset by either one?"...

Cooperations of enemies

With all the conflicts going on in the world still, in places like Ukraine, Syria, the Middle-East, parts of Africa, and more, I thought this little piece from transcript 175 was fitting. And it can probably be used for non-violent conflicts as well in countries without that amount of unrest.

..."You see you're still working from a psychological stand point, but you're still working with an energy construct. And you have an orchestration here on your planet, just as you do in the universe, just as you do every place else. Because, it's ALL energy. And its 'how' you manipulate energy. Not 'you' as an individual, but you as a collective. Because, although you may have an enemy... one country has an enemy and is an enemy to another country - the two countries are enemies - but its a 'cooperative' effort. And you don't look at it from that stand point.

You'll say, 'well they're fighting and killing each other all the time'. But its still, at another level of understanding... is the only words I can think of to describe it. You know exactly what's going on and you're watching it. You see, physicality is very, very, interesting.
"...

This transcript also have some interesting mentions of how people will leave in numbers at certain times, and also some interesting views on people with Alzheimer's disease.

Who wrote the story?

I always thought this story at the end of Datre transcript 127 was a good one.

..."It's ALL choice. You don't realize it - but it is. It's your choice from the beginning to the end. Then from the beginning to the end, again and again and again. So, there's genetics, all right there is that. But there is also "you" that dwells in the physical body. And how strong is "your" intent? Your intent can change your physical construct. It is all up to you. But, if you have a 'disease' - heal it. If you can't heal it, then do what ever you want to do. But, 'learn' from the doing.

No one else set that up for you - no one. No one can have 'any' influence on you what-so-ever - if you do not wish to have influence by anyone else. They can give you all the advice in the world, but if you don't want to take it, you don't have to. What we're saying is, "be the 'you' that you are, be an 'individual'". OBSERVE, LEARN, that's what its all about. And the 'learning' does not have to be one of suffering. That is one thing that you desire to do for some reason we cannot understand.

Why do you feel that you have to 'suffer'? We do not understand that. You are in the physical to "enjoy" it. Enjoy it to the fullest, which ever way you can, however you desire you want to do it. It is like the man that say's, 'I will pay this man $100 to kill me, I don't want to live any more. And tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock I will be walking through the park - I don't want to see you - but I want you to kill me. I will write a contract and all this other kind of stuff if you want it.'. And the fellow say's, 'no, just give me the $100'. So the fellow say's, 'all right, I will give you the $100'.

So he takes the $100. The next afternoon the man is walking through the park and he say's, 'finally this will be over, it won't be long now.' The man is already there, he's ready to shoot him. Then the man spots something in a little child playing with a car on the sidewalk. And the joy in the child's face, and the child looks up and he smiles and he say's, 'I've got a car'. And the remembrance in the man of the day he got a little red car that he had longed for, and how he had played with that car. Then he began to remember that of living as a child, and he progressed in his thinking, and he said, 'I do not wish to die. I have no desire to die. I want to find that joy, that happiness, that excitement that I had as a child.' He continued walking with that thought in mind. Someone came up and tapped him on the shoulder and the man turned around and it was the man with the gun. And he said, 'you have changed your mind, here's your money back'. Who wrote the story? We are Datre."

There are no accidents

Datre said:

..."There are no 'accidents'. You plan 'everything' for whatever reason you 'want' to plan it. Then they'll say, 'I don't know why some people have so many problems?'. Because, your 'learning' process is to learn certain lessons that 'you' decided that 'you' wanted to learn - for your own evolution. Then they'll say, 'well, this tragedy and that tragedy and another tragedy keeps happening to that person all the time'. Well, if that person 'learned' from the 'first' tragedy, as it is called, there wouldn't have to be a second. It’s that simple"...

That is also pointed out by Eckhart Tolle in this videoclip, he said "it was not by chance":

Star Wars the Reality

With the new upcoming Star Wars movie, there's alot of people that got excited about the latest trailer, and so I thought I'd quote a part from a post that I think was written by John S.

"YOU ARE A CREATOR

If you imagine something or believe something – that something is in fact created as “real”. If you tell a story or write a book – that story and or book are in fact describing a “reality”.

There is no such thing as “fiction” – every event or story is created as it is described. These stories and or beliefs are created as real, either in this your current experience, or in another reality construct. If in another reality construct you then create an aspect of you to have the experience of that other reality.

All of the Star Trek and Star Wars movies, for example, are indeed real. They exist in their own reality – which you and others can – if you wish – visit."

Kate & Leopold

I watched this movie again recently, it's a fairly good movie. The reason I watched it in the first place was that it was mentioned as an example of movies about time travel, or rather shifting realities, in one of the Datre transcripts.

André Rieu - Ballade pour Adeline

Datre use an André Rieu concert as an example in one of their books. Alot of people have probably heard this little piano ballade and perhaps played it themselves. But I thought I'd post it anyway.

How do you get rid of beliefs?

I found this in http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre060.html:

..."JOHN: He next asks... "How do you get rid of beliefs?"

DATRE: You do not get 'rid' of beliefs, you 'replace' them - it is an automatic. If you have always, always, always, believed that if this circumstance happened, this would naturally follow. If that is something that you've always believed, if this happens, then this will happen automatically, then THAT is a belief that you need to look at.

Now, say to yourself, 'if this happens, does this automatically have to happen?'. Now, when you look at it in that context, then you can 'see' what a belief is. Now, that is probably not easy for you to come upon, but if you are looking for it you will find it, because it will pop-up in front of you.

Now, this business of saying, 'abusive people will always go into abusive situations', in other words, if a woman or man marries a woman or man that is a 'drunk', the first thing everybody says, 'well next time he or she marries, they'll do the same thing, I've seen it happen so often'. Now, if you want to accept that, that's fine, you 'believe' that is the sequence.
But, stop and take a look at it. There are those that have been in that situation, with peoples that are drunks and have walked away from that situation and have changed their lives completely. Analyze that, this is what we are trying to get you to do.
There are as many people that do it one way, as there are that do it the other. Which one do YOU want to see? Do you want to see the ones that make the change or do you want to see the
ones that stay in the same situation? That is a very simplistic belief, but it is a belief. It is not 'good', 'bad', or 'indifferent' in this case, it does not matter. What matters is YOU becoming 'aware' that 'both' situations exist. You 'observe' both situations and you 'allow' both situations, but you get 'involved' in neither. Immediately, that 'changes' a belief, it does 'not' get rid of it."...

I probably haven't spent enough time looking at my own beliefs, when you get used to them it's easy to forget they are beliefs in the first place.

But there seems to be a contradiction in the Datre transcripts in regards having/not having beliefs:

..."There are many others that are
'stumbling' blocks, rather than 'stepping' stones. Your 'belief' system is one of them. It's a copout. It really is, it's a copout. They say, well you can't live without a belief system. Yes you can. There are many on this planet right now, that are doing it and they are doing very well with that. You don't 'have' to 'believe' anything. All you 'have' to do is 'exist', be aware, allow and that's not only 'allow' your self, but 'allow' others."...

from: http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre025.html

Too bad I didn't ask Datre about it, but then again I suppose we're supposed to figure it out ourselves anyway. I guess one can do both; replace beliefs and/or not have them at all.

But what might seem dull at first...

Eckhart Tolle uses the analogy of the ocean, and I used that myself several years ago to explain the immortality of what I considered beingness, conciousness. The drop of water that falls into the ocean and dies as a drop, but then experience itself as greater than it used to be. I was trying to explain the immortality of experiencing and that true death cannot really be experienced.

Tolle explains it a bit differently though:

Like a Game of Chess

I've been watching the chess world championship for the past days, the battle between Carlsen and Anand. Carlsen has been called the Mozart of chess, and I'm wondering if he's connecting with a portion of himself that is not blurred by beliefs when he plays well, and the game "flows".

Although Anand is a very good player and not to be underestimated, so the outcome is not obvious yet.

One of the most viewed transcripts on the datretranscripts blog is one where Datre mentions chess.
Probably not random, though it could simply be explained by someone searching for chess in the archives, it's not unlikely since it's a championship going on at the moment, after all. But still I don't think things are so much random anymore.

This is from Datre174:

..."You must remember, this is a psychological game you're playing - like a game of chess. But you don't realize that you're playing a chess game, and you're not enjoying it. Why can't 'you' be an Aspect of something from another planet? Or, why can't something else on another planet be an Aspect of yours? Why not? You have ALL the possibilities and probabilities - so why can't it be? It is your 'belief' system that puts you into believing what you are or aren't. So, until you get to the point that you know 'who' you are, then that's another subject entirely.

But, you're all looking for answers. And the answer is right within 'you'. The only one that can find out what's within that which is 'you', is 'you'. Physicality is 'not' an easy subject. Physicality is one of your highest grades of individual education. But, you don't look at the physicality as an educational process.

If you were having a test in school, I'm sure you would study for it. You are the only one that can study for the test. You are the only one that's got the paper and pencil in hand. And you're the only one that can put down the answers. The teacher can't do it for you. And yet, you go to teacher after teacher, after teacher. And if the teacher is a good teacher, the teacher will say, 'it's up to you to do your homework'."...

Problems vs Challenges

...Sometimes the observation will just be for your enjoyment and other times it will be an answer to a perplexing situation (you call them problems)....

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre-reply-on-observations.html

This was Datre's reply to one of my mails years ago, and I did call them problems, and I still tend to call them problems, but I might have gotten a bit better at catching myself and try to remind myself it's not a problem, but an opportunity.

It can be difficult to acknowledge that if you're emotionally involved with something, then it becomes important to remember that it's not the picture that is important, but that which is creating the picture. Which I think is related to emotions, so you can focus on, and observe, the emotion instead.

Sometimes difficult things happen and then it's important to remember this could be the start of something new.

I think that Datre gave an example of that with airline pilots after the attack on the Trade towers, and also the kid who had to go abroad to get an operation. But I can't remember which transcripts they are at the  moment.

URU

I used to play the Myst games long ago, and then the online version when it was published over a decade ago, called URU.

I don't remember if there was a meaning with the name exactly,
but the title could be an abbrevation for You Are You, perhaps?

I had forgotten about this beautiful theme that plays in one of the ages, here it is.

I Have Come To Kill Your Ego

The title is from a session, or satsang, with Robert Adams. It's quite contradictory to what Datre is saying about the ego, that you don't have to kill the ego, but rather make it know it's place.

But I have decided on that on this blog I'll post about several teachings and sources, and there are many similarities between the different teachings. Both Datre and Adams talk about contradictions in teachings and between different teachings, I also remember Eckhart Tolle mentioning that, - it being the result of the mind.

According to Lester Levenson, the mind is but an instrument to fragment, to separate. And Datre says this world is set up with opposites. So there's no wonder the teachings may sometimes have contradictions.

My impression is that Robert Adams is using a method - Advaita Vedanta, a part of hinduism - and is trying to have people stay focused on that for them to quicker get self-realized. Which may be why alot of teachers will not talk about or involve other teachings.

Anyway, the title is is the title of a session I came across as the only video footage I've found so far of Robert Adams. The audio quality is unfortunately not very good, but the written transcript is available on the net.

It's called  'I Have Come To Kill Your Ego', dated 19th of July, 1992.

Another sentence I noticed in this session/video was:

Where were you before you were born?

The Tomorrowland Project - in another world?

I was reading our chinese translater QingQings latest post where she refered to a transcript in which Datre talks about WORLD 1, WORLD 2, WORLD 3.

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/datre84a.html

One of the last things I talked to John S. about was the Tomorrowland project,

http://datretranscripts.blogspot.com/2009/07/addendum.html

Perhaps, the Tomorrowland institute is being set up in a world where more people are receptive to it's teachings?

I don't even know which world we are in now, but I'm guessing WORLD 2 still.

Beliefs - The Only Game In Town

The title is from one of the chapters in "We Are Datre - book 2". I think it fits well with what scientist are beginning to discover about the placebo effect.
